Alanis Morissette called rain on your wedding day ironic. Don’t you think?

July 23, 2015 by Paula Malone Carty

With rain being Ireland’s default weather pattern, wedding couple Grace and Karl embraced the elements as well as each other on their happy day.

Isn’t this iconic?

No precipitation could dampen the ardour of this perfect pairing, when they walked down the aisle of the picturesque Star of the Sea Church, overlooking the panoramic, if windswept, coastal view of Duncannon, Co. Wexford.

Pre-wedding day plans for photography on the beach and Dunbrody Abbey were cancelled by the clouds, but gracious Grace, and cool, calm Karl took the sky bursts in their stride, and BlueBell Studio easily caught the warmth and sunniness of their dispositions on the day.

This is something a downpour could never diminish.

Throughout the day we captured amazing Grace – gentle, elegant and refined – as she readied herself for this most romantic of days.

Karl – kind, clement and good-natured – embraced the occasion as a man feeling honoured, elated.

As a couple, they radiated love.

Family and friends embraced the happiness of the occasion, and the stunning backdrop of Faithlegg, where the reception was held, added to the tangible romance of the day.

A delightful couple like Karl and Grace make wedding photography such a joyous pursuit, and BlueBell Studio wish them both a world of happiness in their future lives together.

Nothing can rain on that parade.
