Beginners Photography Course: Commencing on Tuesday 20th January 2026 at Wexford Arts Centre
This four week course covers a wide range of subjects for the beginner or for those who simply wish to brush up on their technique. The courses will suit Compact, Bridge, Mirrorless or SLR camera users.
In this course learn
- How to navigate your camera and understand its features & functions
- Discover the rules of photography (composition etc) and when to break them!
- Learn about using natural light and flash for better pictures.
- Discover techniques to improve your landscape photography
Tutorials and refreshments are also provided.
The course runs for four consecutive weeks every Tuesday evening from 7pm to 9pm
Course fee is €140
Paula Malone Carty is registered tutor with Wexford and Waterford ETB and holds a BA (HONS) in Teaching in Adult & Further Education from SETU. She has being tutoring in photography (both credited and uncredited) for many years. She is delighted to be facilitating her courses at these fabulous venues.
