BlueBell Studio is delighted to announce that this is a newly revised six-week course and includes an introduction to some basic editing techniques using Photoshop.
The Intermediate photography course is suited to those who have been taking photographs for a while and want to push the boundaries a little further and further develop their skills. To get the most out of this course it is preferable for participants to have a basic knowledge in photography and to have access to a camera which has manual controls ideally a Bridge or DSLR camera.
This course covers a wide range of topics including the Exposure Triangle, Dept of Field, Reading your Histogram, Metering Modes and much more whilst teaching you the fundamental techniques of photography. There is a small amount of practical homework involved to get those creative juices flowing.
The course also covers an introduction to Black & White photography.
There are lots of tips and quizzes and time is also allocated to critiquing shots taken for homework.

Intermediate Digital Photography Course
This interactive course will take place just off the Flag Room of Johnstown Castle Estate which is set in stunning ornamental gardens, lake walks and woodlands. Along with plenty of flora and fauna around participants will not be short of subject matter on this practical photography course and just so you know, generally the peacocks love to show off and are great posers!
Paula Malone Carty is registered tutor with Wexford and Waterford ETB and holds a BA in Adult & Further Education from Waterford Institute of Technology. She has being tutoring in photography (both credited and uncredited) for many years. She is delighted to be facilitating this six weeks workshop at this fabulous venue.
